DESCRIPTION:Israel/USA 2022\, Director: Yariv Mozer\n108 min\, Hebrew/English/German with English subtitles\nSNEAK PREVIEW\, DIRECTOR’S PRESENTATION \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn a big screen (4x8m) in the garden\, with the support of the Alfred Landecker Foundation\, the House of the Wannsee Conference – a memorial and educational site presents as an open air film. \n\nSneak Preview-Screening with Director Yariv Mozer\, in discussion with Tobias Ebbrecht-Hartmann\, Hebrew University Jerusalem\, and Aya Zarfati\, House of the Wannsee Conference (in English) \n»A few weeks before the opening of the Eichmann trial\, transcripts of recorded conversations that Adolf Eichmann had with a Dutch Nazi journalist\, Willem Sassen\, were mysteriously handed over to prosecutor Gideon Hausner. The conversations were held a few years before Eichmann was brought to Israel by the Mossad. During the trial\, Eichmann tried to convince that he was only a bureaucrat who carried out orders\, but in the transcripts\, Eichmann was found boasting and proud of his significant role in planning and executing the Final Solution.
