SUMMARY:Understanding the Development of Nazi Killing Policies through the Perspective of the Killing Methods used
DESCRIPTION:Vortrag in englischer Sprache \n \nThis third and final lecture on the historical origins and the scientific background of the use of poison gas as a killing method of the Nazis will focus on its deployment in the »Euthanasia«-program\, the extermination camps »Aktion Reinhardt«\, in Auschwitz-Birkenau and other camps and locations. Cameron Munro´s most recent research reveals significant new insights into how\, when and why the Nazis came to use different killing methods including three different poisoned gases\, combined with mass shooting and other techniques.
