Wulf, die Zicklein und der vergessene Garten

Einladung zur Eröffnung: eine Soundinstallation von Yael Reuveny, Clemens Walter und Barbara Morgenstern – Invitation to the Opening of the Sound Installation ‚Wulf, the Children and the Forgotten Garden‘

Im Zentrum der Soundinstallation steht eine Begegnung, die nie stattgefunden hat: Der Auschwitz-Überlebende Joseph Wulf, der bis zu seinem Selbstmord vergeblich dafür kämpfte, das Haus der Wannsee-Konferenz zu einem offiziellen Forschungs- und Gedenkort zu machen, trifft auf die Kinder, die die Villa bis 1988 als Schullandheim besuchten.

Gemeinsam erzählen sie ein dunkles, musikalisches Märchen.

Zur Eröffnung erwarten Sie u. a. geführte Spaziergänge durch die Installation mit den Künstler*innen, partizipative Musikperformances, Filmvorführungen und Lesungen.

‘Wulf, the Children and the Forgotten Garden’

At the heart of this sound installation lies an encounter that never took place: Joseph Wulf – an Auschwitz survivor who, before his suicide, fought in vain to establish an official site of remembrance and documentation in the Villa – meets the children who came here until 1988, when it served as a Schullandheim (school camp).

Together, they weave a dark, musical fairy tale.

The opening will include guided walks through the installation with the artists, participatory music performances, film screenings and readings.
